MORAL OF THE STORY:

“He made you so you could share in His creation, could love and laugh and know Him.”
— Ted Griffin
Did you know that God has written love letters to you? In fact, there’s one waiting just for you. Just step outside. Open your eyes and look around.
If it’s too cold, look outside. If you don’t like what you see out your window, go for a walk or go for a drive.
Maybe the mystery and the expanse of the ocean will whisper to you of the mystery and expanse of God’s love for you.
Perhaps the stunning surprise of the snow-kissed mountains will sing to you of the stunning surprise of God’s daily gift of a new day, filled with fresh starts.
The warmth and light of the faithful sun can remind us of the warmth and light of God’s mercy and grace.
Even the elegance of trees and the unbelievable colors of flowers hints at the never-ending reflections of God’s magnificence in creation.
I was reminded of the countless ways God sends love letters in the form of creation when I listened to the following words of the song called “Indescribable” by Chris Tomlin:
“From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea
Creation’s revealing Your majesty
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring
Every creature unique in the song that it sings
All exclaiming
Indescribably, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name,
You are amazing God
All powerful, untamable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God …”
The same all-powerful God of creation created each of us uniquely, and every day is filled with His love letters to us, inviting us to share in His creation with Him.
And you can quote me on that.
