Bees cause brief closure of Fairview Park bridge

A bee infestation on the Fairview Park bridge in Costa Mesa caused the structure to be closed temporarily Thursday.

The bridge, which spans Placentia Avenue, was reopened after city maintenance crews dealt with the bees, said city spokesman Tony Dodero.
